Is Tan from Queer Eye married?

Yes, Tan from Queer Eye is married to a long-term partner, Rob France.

The couple has been together for over a decade, marrying in 2013.

Speaking to The Guardian, Tan explained they married in America after the Defence of Marriage Act was overturned in 2013.

Before their marriage, Tan and Rob had a long distance relationship.

Tan said: “It wasn’t hard work at all. It was the constant, the easiest thing in my life.”

Tan and Rob live together in Salt Lake City, Utah and have done so for the past six years.

THE BEST EPISODES OF QUEER EYE

According to capitalfm.com, Tan and Rob met on a dating site in 2008.

In episode two, season two of Queer Eye, Tan revealed that he and Rob never had an official engagement.

He said: “You know, there wasn’t an actual proposal, it was a case of, ‘We’re going to get married one day, right?’ ‘Yeah of course we are.’

“We just had agreed it was going to happen one day and then we arranged the date.“

Tan and Rob are also hoping to start a family together via surrogacy in the future.

Speaking to the Press Association, Tan said: “I truly do want six. I will settle for a minimum of four. And no, six is not loads. It’s just enough.

“I think that what we do well on the show, or what Netflix did well, was cast five people who are incredibly outspoken and opinionated and vocal and I am one of those people and I feel privileged to be in a position where I get to talk about what I want to do.

“And if I want to have children I want to talk about it and nobody can say it’s wrong and get away with it.

“I think that just by the nature of our show and by the nature of who I am, I think that helps lend a light and shine a light on a method that isn’t discussed as often as it should be.”
